Unità Cross Flow

Le unità FASTER Cross Flow rappresentano la soluzione al problema di contaminazione durante le operazioni di campionatura e pesata di polveri non attive. Primariamente utilizzate nelle industrie chimiche e farmaceutiche per garantire un ambiente di lavoro sicuro durante le operazioni di manipolazioni delle polveri, tali unità possono essere utilizzate in qualsiasi processo produttivo che preveda operazioni di pesata laddove si voglia evitare il rischio di dispersione delle polveri stesse. L’operatore lavora fisicamente all’interno dell’unità in un regime di flusso laminare in Classe ISO 3 secondo la normativa ISO EN 14644-1 il quale flussa e trattiene le polveri asperse all’interno della macchina Cross Flow evitando il pericolo di inalazione da parte dell’operatore e la dispersione verso l’ambiente esterno.

Le unità Cross Flow sfruttando uno schema aeraulico mantenuto in pressione negativa verso l’ambiente esterno, sono abili a garantire la protezione dell’operatore, del prodotto manipolato e dell’ambiente circostante all’unità.

Air from the H14 HEPA/ULPA filter passes down over the enclosed space, then through two pre-filters and back to the H14 HEPA/ULPA filter plenum chamber. A small absolute filter mounted downstream of the fans generates a loss in the air recycling system, causing an inflow of air between the vinyl curtain and floor.

The vertical air stream carries away powder generated and spilt in the manufacturing process, and passing through the pre-filters is recycled or exhausted via H14 HEPA/ULPA filters. This airflow pattern encourages a floor level air movement to prevent powder drifting through the room, and contamination of sterile products, which are generally kept at least 50 cm from the floor.

Body structure fully made in stainless steel AISI 304L press-bent metal sheets with radius of 3 mm for easy cleaning and roughness lower than 0,8 Ra.

Filter protective grids made in AISI 304L stainless steel.Custom dimensions are always available upon request.

Prefiltration stage consisting of G3 filtration cells made in AISI 304L stainless steel fitted with quick-release system and F9 dihedral bag filters in compliance to EN 779.

Filtration stage consisting of main and exhaust H14 HEPA/ULPA filter DUG type with volume control dumper and DEHS test port with typical efficiency of 99.995% MPPS according to CEN EN 1822.

Bag plenum made in technical material for superior air diffusion.

Ventilation is provided by high efficiency electronically commutated double inlet motorblowers ECM DDTAC type.

Pressure control provided by electronic output and analogic visualization by means of Dwyer manometers.

Side containment provided by means of PVC strip curtains or stainless steel side walls.
